WebOct 16, 2024 · The hiby r6 player provides convolution plugin within the hiby player app but it's not available in the standalone android app. I assume the r6/r8 are using a rooted android or a somewhat accustomized version to realize this function, so it may not work with a conventional unrooted android running on usual smartphones. WebDespite a ton of research I missed that the Hiby R2 has Bluetooth 5 and built in Tidal streaming. The Fiiio M5 is on Bluetooth 4.something and no tidal/steaming access. So unless someone has a better option for around $99, I think I figured it out. Alternatively a similarly priced lightning DAC would be great.
