WebI've seen APEs do that before just not on that scale. It's tomentose mycelium as opposed to the more commonly seen rhizomorphic. Tomentose, which looks quite blobby, occurs when the mycelium doesnt have to spread out looking for food sources which is what rhizomorphic tends to do. WebFluffy cotton like mycelium on agar.
