WebFeb 6, 2012 · The 6.6 and 7.8s were both very reliable engines. I sold class 6-8 parts back in the late 80s and early 90s. We rarely sold much for these engines. The 7.8 came in two configurations 210 hp and 240 hp. IIRC the 6.6 was a 165 hp engine only.
