WebJan 1, 2024 · Instructions for AGM Upgrade My 2016 factory battery is dying, it has the OEM 730 CCA battery. Interstate makes a MTX-94R/H7 direct fit however it is a 850 CCA AGM battery. I have a Forscan tool however I am not sure how to use it. Any insight on what I need to do to get the BMS/ charging system adjusted to the new battery? WebMay 27, 2024 · AFAIK there are no settings in Forscan for charge voltage (unless the 'new' battery type changes this) only thing you can change that is numerical is the state of charge target percentage. @RossPat, I also had it set to 90% and haven't had any issues, just noticed that the voltage while running the car seemed to stay in the 12s a lot of the time.
